Express Appliance has been around for over 20 years!
Our Story: What was once a one-man service company, has continually grown into the company it is today. Its owners, Jon & Laurel, worked many long days to build the business to live up to its “Express” name.
Pre-Appliance Repair
It all began back in the ’80s. Jon’s father owned an appliance repair company. As a teenager, Jon spent many hours assisting the family business and learning the trade from his father. After marrying Laurel, they lived in Utah for a few years and ran General Appliance Repair.
Once they returned to the Boise area, they started Express Appliance. Over the years, in addition to doing service, Jon spent many spare-time hours fixing and selling used appliances, often out of his garage, a small storage unit, or a little warehouse. Laurel also helped, cleaning them up to make them look new again for the new homes they would go to.
As their small business grew, Jon did the service work and eventually took his own calls. Laurel managed the business accounts, all while working as a CNA and raising their three sons.
Our Focus on Customer Service
Jon’s goal was to be able to get to a customer’s home as quickly as possible, providing same-day service where possible. We understand how stressful it can be when a major appliance is not working!
Steady Growth
As the valley grew, so did our company. In 2010, we expanded from service to sell parts and used appliances as well. Our first storefront was in Nampa, and a few months later, we took over All Brand in Boise. A few years later, a family friend Darin joined our team and assisted in helping us expand to our Twin Falls location. With the growth of the Boise area, we could hardly keep up with the supply and demand of rebuilding appliances.
So we expanded our company and updated our name to Express Appliance Outlet. We now offer new and like-new scratch and dent appliances, in addition to our used appliances and parts, and continue to offer service. Our goal
continues to serve our community. Most of our products are sold right from our showroom. We offer affordable options for appliances and usually get them delivered to you within 48 hours or less. We only sell what we have in stock.
