I am extremely happy with this stove! It is definitely more than I expected. I like the broiling with the door feature. We got new smoke alarms, and they are extremely sensitive and would go off every time we did, so the broiling with the door closed was a big turn on for me. I did this all over the phone and this was a suggestion from the clerk. The other stove I wanted would take a long time to be delivered. I could not be happier. This has the warming burner and the quick boil burner which I also love. I knew I would be getting the smooth top. I have had smooth tops for years and love them. Thank you Frigidaire for a great product!

Scratches Easily and Difficult to Clean

This range looks beautiful before using. We followed the instructions for cleaning before using. After the first use of the ceramic cook top, it scratched and could not be buffed. After the second and third consecutive uses, it is covered in scratches. We use good quality cookware and have used this type of cookware for years on other ceramic cook tops. Both Frigidaire and Spencer's (where we purchased) said that it was only cosmetic and they could not do anything about the range (nor would they exchange it for a new one, despite it was less than a week old). The entire stove is hard to keep clean and needs to be scrubbed after every use and still looks terrible. The oven is also very hot and food needs to be monitored or the temperature needs to be decreased. The burners work well and heats food quickly but it is easy to turn on the knobs easily when cleaning the stove so beware. We have purchased other Frigidaire ranges in the past and have never been disappointed before. I would NOT RECOMMEND this model to anyone.

Call Frigidaire which is a nightmare in it' s self for them to overnight the parts to the servicer and no one has the authority to do so. It Does the Job

Overall, I like the range. It does sound like it has a fan that runs from the time you turn the oven on until it has completely cooled. I did not pay the extra $200 for the convection option, but it seems to cook like a convection oven from what I have learned about them. From the times I have used it so far (about two weeks) it seems to cook faster than most directions and recipes state. The quick boil burner is great and heats up extremely fast compared to my prior 1974 model range. Keeping the cooktop clean is already proving to be difficult. I did put a protective cleaning product on the cooktop, as the directions stated, before using it. Others have mentioned it having a strong odor when they first get it. Mine did have a strong odor the first several days, which was amplified when the oven was in use. However, that has since gone away; I™€™m assuming the smell had to do with whatever protective coating the oven was lined with.My prior range was almost 50 years old when it finally died. I hope this one lasts as long, but I don™€™t know that any appliances are made for longevity anymore.

Overall happy with this range. The fan on it is louder than I have experienced with other ranges. That doesn't bother me as much as the fact that sometimes the oven will start to vibrate and I have to sort of push into the front of it to make it stop.

Purchased this range to replace a Frigidaire Gallery range that would not shut off. Upon first use of the new oven, it also would not shut off after use. The Frigidaire tech that came to look at the range suggested that we ask for a replacement as it was a "fire hazard." Unfortunately, that request was denied and we now have to have the entire control board replaced. As a result, we have to wait weeks for service and have no way to use the oven for dinners until then.

Bad choice for a new range

I have tried to call several times and since my issue is not an emergency, I could not reall report my displeasure with this product. First, when I first turned on the stove, the fumes that were emitted were so horrible that I was afraid to go to sleep that night. I could not get that horrible smell out of my home and I felt like it was toxic smelling it. Then after only two weeks using my range, the Quick Boil element actually has "blisters" on the surface. Then I used another rear element and hot water hit the surface and again, there are "blisters" on the surface. I am using the Weiman Cook Top Daily Cleaner and those "blisters" are still there. It is not food, as you can actually feel the raised surfaces. The three lights for the Oven, Preheat and Door Locked do not light up. I dread to see how my stove top will look after a month or a year from now. I am SO disappointed for buying this product. I would not recommend it at all to anyone. I had no idea that the stove top would blister and look so bad. I was looking forward to having a nice glass surface compared to ugly coils I had on a previous range. Now I'm sorry I bought this glass top.

I brought this range in May to replace my previous 20-year old surface top range and never used it until after my kitchen renovation. in June. Followed manufacturer's manual and preheated oven prior to use. The bottom of the oven cooked and stained itself after preheat. Took pictures, repair guy came, bent down, and told me I used the oven would submit a complaint to the company as the return deadline passed. It's been over 2 months no response. Purchased the cleaner for surface tops..what a joke. Water boiled over and stained the surface will not come off. I hate this oven. We are scared to use it!!!

This is a great slide in oven. The only problem is that the burner controls are easily bumped and I find a burner on. This is extremely dangerous and I have learned NOT to put anything on the stove top when not cooking. Maybe they should be a bit harder to turn on. My son has the same stove and he has found the same problem. Something needs to be done.

knob location is dangerous

Love the look of my new range, but have a big problem with the location of the knobs in front. They are bumped on with only a minor bump. No safety measures at all. I've had the oven 2 weeks and have already caused 2 minor fires from bumping the knobs on while using the overhead Frigidaire microwave. Poor design & dangerous. The knobs should have a safety push in or pull out then turn on to prevent this.

It looks great .. the only reason I didn't give it a 5* is because it's very sensitive st the knobs.. if you barely touch by reaching above or bumping it turns on..I have became aware and avoid it but it could be dangerous if you have anything on top

Until yesterday I had been somewhat pleased with my range. It wasn™€™t that bad other than a few minor things. I came home from work early today. Thank goodness. I have a doggie in the house and it was filled with smoke. I went hastily searching. I didn™€™t have to go far. My range was on fire. The control panel and knobs were burnt off. I went and shut the breakers off. It had burnt some things beside the stove and was starting to melt my new counters. My wood floors are ruined too. Be very careful if you want to buy this unit. I™€™ve had it 2 years and worked so hard to keep it almost spotless. Which is very very hard to do. We will not be buying another one after this. This was one of the scariest days of my life.
