The salesperson at Appliance Connection recommended this unit (on sale!) and we could not be happier -- more compact, but great design of inside space, visual and audible reminders about proper functioning and good-looking.

This is an excellent freezer. It is in my garage and is not affected by the external heat.The inside racks are roomy and the door has shelves to hold small frozen items. I receive bi-weekly orders of frozen food and this is perfect to handle the orders. I highly recommend this freezer.

I bought in November 2019. Was very happy until Monday. I opened the freezer and my food fell out because the shelf collapsed. Plastic containers broke all over the floor. Luckily nothing hit me. It could easily have broken my foot. It scared me to death. I called frigidaire and talked with Sierra. I explained that the shelves are too narrow and don't stay on the bumps built into the wall. This is extremely dangerous and I was very lucky. I've heard nothing from frigidaire.

Although it took 3 months to get it, this freezer was exactly what we needed. was delivered in perfect condition. Only thing I would suggest is a rodent-proof mesh or screen on the back to allow for air flow without offering up a warm spot for the critters to move into.

I bought this particular model for our garage, replacing 2 smaller freezers. It is a great size, not too big and definitely bigger than what we had. The green light that shines even with the door shut is probably the best feature. Plenty of shelves and a large basket/drawer at the bottom keeps me organized. I do freezer meals is this is just what I needed. Baskets on shelves were bought SEPARATELY and NOT included.

It is a good looking unit and it fits in my space quite well. The light bulb that shines a green light on the floor to let you know it is running is quite bright but does its job well. The alarm that goes off after a long period of the door being open does a good job notifiying that you didn't close the door good enough.

My time with the freezer

It's quiet, well made and seems to be well built. The green glow from underneath showing its in good running order was a surprise to me and still getting used to it, but I think I like it. The only complaint is that a similar model from a different manufacturer offers one with a digital interface on the display and controlling the temperature otherwise I can't see anything to complain about it.
