Purchased from Grand appliance and TV Avon Indiana.Customer service there stunk. I had to make conversion to LP gas myself. The performance of the cook top is not what I expected. I tried to adjust the burners per instructions but low heat is about only to cook with out burning things. Convection oven is good

Best Range weve ever bought.

We love this dual fuel range. Ive never used convection before and everything we bake turns out beautifully. We prefer an electric oven but do not like electric stovetop cooking. We love gas stovetops but dont like gas ovens they dont bake as well as electric. So this is the best of both worlds. And both are top of the line. The gas burners are perfectly sized and spaced with the large center grill to make grilled cheese for the kids. And just love love love convection baking. Easy to clean too Just remove the grill tops and the stovetop cleans up beautifully.

Not for those who actually cook and bake

I would have given it a zero if I was able to. This range is not meant for those who actually cook and bake. The oven is NOT a convection oven. Cookies on the outside of the pan burn or brown before centers cook. So do not buy if you want convection. The door does not seal tight and is constantly alarming that it needs to be shut. The digital controls for the oven are not easy to use timer and oven temp. The oven door when opened allows the steam to immediately come out in a blast and although it does not burn it is very hot on the face The stove top is even less user friendly. The Ultra Heat burner flame goes out from the bottom of the pot and has singed my oven mitts. It cannot be used to simmer. The simmer burner is in the back of the Ultra Heat so if you are using both burners and cooking noodles up front you have to reach over a large hot pot to stir what is in the simmer burner should be up front. If you decide to use the griddle in the middle of the oven you cannot use any of the other burners because the griddle extends out over the other burners and your pan/pot wont fit. My large skillet will not fit on the burner and allow for another pot to be on the burner behind it as there is not enough room. If I am cooking on both front and back burners which is daily the space between burners is not enough and one flame may reach the pot on the other burner and cook food on the edges of the pan I dont want it too I am so frustrated daily using it I should have stayed with Jenn Air One good feature it does clean easily.

Good but not great

Fragile plastic for oven 10/17/2022

We are very happy with the cooker. The range and oven work as expected. But there it one clear weakness and that is in the oven control. The pin that the control knob attaches to is plastic and it broke off in my hand. The range controls have a metal pin. I dont think those will break off.

An all LG appliance kitchen now

Purchased range on September 11 2019. It was delivered and installed October 22 2019. I have only in the big scheme of things they are somewhat minor. Plus so happy to again have gas burners 1. Oven light is not in the middle of oven or like the last ovens Ive had one on each side. Its difficult to see objects on the right side. Many times I have to open oven door to be able to see if food is properly cooked and or browned. 2. Wish the griddle was a heavier metal or even cast iron.

Good dual fuel slide in range

I bought this unit 3 years ago as a replacement for a Kitchenaid dual fuel slide in range. I was surprised that the oven motor malfunctioned on this unit so quickly within 3 years that I had to call out the LG repairperson. Other than that the oven pre-heats much quicker than my old KitchenAid and has good feature otherwise.

We bought this range about 6 months ago as a replacement for a 5 burner all gas range. Starting at the top we use the oval burner with the grill plate for great heating coverage for pancakes. We miss the large simmer burner on our previous range but in general the gas burners are fine. The 4 regular burners disassemble for cleaning which is great. Why they didnt make the center oval burner the same is a puzzlement we have already had to put in a warranty repair to remove buildup around the gas jet vents. Quick service from LG but we didnt need any parts. Repairman suggested it might have taken longer otherwise. The electric oven seems good but I feel we need to get an oven thermometer to check and then adjust the thermostat. I like the two broiler settings. I also like the proof setting for making bread as we keep the house really cool in the winter. The quick clean is nice for small drips as you can wipe down shortly after. The full clean seems good too. I like the fact that the rope seal is not on the door as its easier to keep from getting wet during clean ups.

Burner Caps Are Junk

First boil over of water and milk ruined burner cap. Ate the finish right off of it. That is not scrubbing marks in the picture just the finish boiled off. Talked to customer service reps a month ago absolutely nothing has been taken care of. Range and oven are okay otherwise.

not enough heat

I have been cooking on this for about 3 months now. There arent enough BTUs apparently. I would like more heat. Also would be better if the burners could have been spaced farther apart. It is difficult to get 2 fry/saute pans on at the same time one behind the other. Top is just a bit too crowded. That may be an unavoidable limitation of the size of the top. Also if the flame could have been placed in a star pattern as opposed to a circle I think you would get a better distribution of heat and not have the flames coming up around the pot when on high. Unfortunately I did not realise these things when I bought it. Probably would buy a different one next time.

beautiful oven love to cook on it some flaws

I have had this installed about a month now. The first month the panel with the buttons on it quit working so I couldnt bake. I registered my product on LG and I had a tech out with parts to fix it within the week - I had really wanted to cook on gas - it is a little hard to keep clean I wipe it down frequently and polish it to keep water spots off the stainless. I do this about every other day - so if you dont think you will keep up with the cleaning get the flat top. I love all the room inside the oven however I need to oil the racks because they are starting to scratch up the finish inside - its a great oven but for the price I dont know that I would reccomend it

Wi-fi difficult to set up

Perfect except for wifi 4/25/2022

Had kitchen remodeled and had to replace my outdated built ins. Researched for weeks to find a gas top/electric oven. Consumer Reports gave this one the best rating for ranges in the combo division. Beautiful addition to my kitchen. The directions on how to set up the wi-fi arent accurate and without a lot of detail. Even my techie daughter couldnt get it set up. Cant get to the Wi-fi icon using prompts. Ive contacted support but still havent had the patience to figure it out.

Range of my dreams

A dual fuel range has been on m wish list for many years. I was thrilled when it was on sale. The timing was perfect We sold the LG electric range 3 yo and purchased the dual fuel I love this range. The center griddle feature was a plus For me it is a complete package and the best of both worlds. The oven is quite large and has 3 racks. Great when baking cookies and multi layer cakes.

The male part of the knob for the oven is PLASTIC and broke while I was turning on the stove. I have no little children so there was no abuse to the appliance. Now three short years after purchasing the oven temperature is off by 30 degrees too hot. This is just unacceptable to me that an appliance is this crappy and unreliable. Be aware. I wish I knew about these problems. They are just not acceptable

Much better than all gas

Ive had this oven for a month and it works great. I had been using a 15 year old all-gas range that did not heat evenly. The new electric oven heats evenly and preheats fast. The burners light quickly and evenly and the controls are easy to use. The drawer slides glide on ball bearings much better than a cheap oven with a nylon insert in a metal track. It beeps a song to let you know when it preheats when the timer ends and probably more that I havent discovered yet and that is more pleasant than a monotone beep like a regular kitchen timer. The stainless steel top does show dirt and grease more than my old black enamel range so you do have to keep it clean not really a problem I have just lazy and skipped cleaning the stovetop in the past. Bought from Costco on sale.

Beautiful range but a few hiccups.

The range arrived in good shape but during install for LP one of the adaptors broke and another line was blocked so we were without 2 burners for a week after having to pay for replacement parts and wait for delivery. Now we are enjoying the stove very much.

Range performs well. Electric range bakes exactly like we had hope while the gas cook top provide instant heat. Only issue we have is the fan is quite loud while the oven is running. Almost sounds like a vibration from the fan.

Love My Dual Fuel

We bought the dual fuel range as part of a LG promotion and werent sure we were going to like it. After comparing several dual fuel and reading reviews we decided to go for it because it fit our specifications. The ovens temperature is accurate and I appreciate the feature that allows me to set a timer to turn the oven off. The middle grill is great - maintains an even heat and is easy to clean. Ive only had it for a month but weve used every burner and the oven and are quite happy with our purchase.

I bought this dual fuel stove on the internet. This was late Nov 2021. The stove had a number of problems I sent in the request for the one-year maintenance that was offered. The co did not want to give it to me as the stove was in the warehouse to long. It took intervention by the Appliance store in order for me to get it. I was contacted the assigned repair shop and a person came out a couple wks. ago to look it over and was told he had order parts. Nothing yet from him. So I have a stove with 5 burners the largest one had a flame spreader that did not fit I had to file the bumps so it fit and it still does not work. This is mid Feb and still not the shove I thought I was buying.

Best value and performance for duel fuel range

I previously tested the range for a year with heavy use and found that it held up well. Love that the burners have very precise settings and a true simmer function wont bubble tomato sauce. The oven makes great pizza and roasts.

Most money I have spent on a Stove. First LG product I have purchased. So far has been good till I had a issue with the Oven switch. Forget talking to Lg customer service they are terrible. What a shame to find out the Oven control is plastic. The rest of the controls are steel and the Oven plastic???

Oven Door is Broke

Oven is less than 2 yo and the door never sealed properly. Note the taper in the photo. See photo. It worked fine for awhile but now were getting error messages indicating the door is open. I called customer service and spoke to 4 people. Nobody could help. Im happy with my LG refrigerator washer and new OLED TV but not the oven. Its defective and a lousy customer experience made it worse.

I loved this oven it was my dream oven but. The convection cycle started self ending the self diagnostic wouldnt find the problem so the repair men couldnt help. The serial number ink ran so the repairman wont help. After the manufacturers initial warranty was over Lowes warranty wont help so dont buy this at lowes and cover Your model sticker so You can get repairs.

Good but.....

Cleaning the top surface is very difficult because of the surface around the burners rises - not at the same level of the stove top. The instructions recommend unplugging the unit from the wall for cleaning etc. Really? This is a dual fuel. The average homeowner isnt very likely nor inclined to pull the unit out far enough to unplug. My installer had to climb over the counter to get to the back. I would have given you four stars is the stove top was all smooth my former gas range was for easy cleaning. No mention of the burner tops or knobs being dishwasher safe - the grates were however. It may be a good performer but it aint ez to clean Five stars if there was an easier way to unplug. It would take a professional installer to do that.
